My 13 year old son did the neurological room with a group of friends for his birthday. It was totally fun, the staff were all very friendly and were great with hints and providing some guidance through the one hour time frame. The premise of the scenario and the challenges were really cool for the kids and I loved the way the room was set up. Watching the kids work through the challenges and solve the puzzles was fun, it was nice it was a larger room to accommodate the group & the idea that they had to work together was brilliant. We can't wait to do another one as a family! Thank you for a really positive escape experience!

I drove up to Edmonton this week (from Calgary) to play Neurological. Game was well-designed, and included a variety of unique puzzles. We really liked the importance of communication in the first part!

More than the game, I was really impressed with the customer service. Due to a hiccup with our local friend, we were about 25 minutes late for everyone to arrive at Escape City. The whole way through they were friendly, and they told us we'd probably need to play with reduced time, about 40 mins, to keep on schedule. But they were really nice and let us play it out; I think we finished at about 48 mins!
All in all, thanks to Escape City for helping make our Edmonton trip a success! We always enjoy our time here, definitely recommended!
My friends and I are big escape room junkies, and to this day the Neurological room at escape city has been my favourite. It is SO well done and the plot of it is so creative. It doesn't have traditional locks and keys like most rooms in the city, it's more of an interactive type of thing and it is amazing!! The lighting (although not ideal for someone with epilepsy, and it does say that on their website) is cooler than any place I've been and really help sets the scene. It's truly just amazing and I can't recommend it enough! Oh, and Escape City often has promotions for certain days (I get them through my email) so watch out for those!

I've done a few escape challenges and this one was by far the most professionally put together. The room design, props and puzzles were well thought out and fit the theme nicely.

We did the Magic Emporium and I had a great time! Some of the people I was with thought it was a little 'too easy' but I just thought we did an amazing job solving the puzzles! We were out with 20 minutes to spare and the comment was, you feel like you get your moneys worth when you get out at the last second or don't get out at all.
We had a team of 6 working together and as we progressed the room got a little small. It was nice in the beginning because there were many challenges you could work on simultaneously but near the end you were kind of tripping over one another.
I would love to go back and try some of the other rooms. At $25 a pop it's not something we'll do every weekend but it's a fun, unique way to spend a Friday night. Also, while we were there they let us know about new larger space their working on that can host groups up to 12. Sounds like a party!
First time playing an escape game and it was so much fun! We did Keller's Magic Emporium and were two puzzles away from completion. Without giving anything away, I'll say that there were lots of very clever and well-designed surprises in the room, and that the puzzles were also unique, varied and fun to solve. They clearly put a lot of work into both the functionality and decoration of the room, and because of that it was a very immersive experience. There were just two of us, so we got paired up with a pair of strangers but we all worked really well together and it was a great experience.

Wouldn't recommend for kids, as this room had some mature content (nothing crazy, but I would have been terrified up to about age 12) and the puzzles were quite difficult.
This place is amazing. The staff was really nice too! The rooms are developed very well. We did Keller's Magic Emporium, the last room was a shocker!

The concept is awesome, so glad Edmonton has more places like this!
