• Our group of 4 adults had a great time in 'The Workroom', our first escape room experience. So take the review knowing that it was a first experience. I've done a couple "we bring the fun to you" staff party experience-rentals in the past but my first visit to one of the businesses.
  
  We did not get a chance to watch the intro video in advance before showing up to the location but would recommend it.
  
  Our host was friendly and professional as he welcomed us to Carthien House and gave us a bit of background on the former family and the goings-on at the house before we began to figure out the mystery of The Workroom. He was just the right amount of helpful in checking in with our group along the way.
  
  As fate would have it, the boiler had just gone out in the house and our experience was suitably realistic but we were never uncomfortable. It just added to the ambience!
  
  Our group of four enjoyed the story and the puzzles, and with a really fun forehead-slapping "Duhhhhhhhhhhhh" moment, felt the adrenaline of approaching deadline as we took the experience right to the wire.
  
  The room had a good blend of story, props, technology, and challenges where we were able to split up to try different things or pool together to assist on a singular effort. Four brains are definitely better than one and I would definitely recommend doing this with a group that takes it to the maximum room capacity or you do a private room booking. If your attendance is under a 'full room' you may have others in with you, as long as you are aware this is a possibility.
  
  Definitely going to come back to Mystery Mansion and try other rooms!
