Seven is said to be a lucky number. It's all around us: the seven wonders of the world, seven colors of the rainbow, seven days of the week and many more examples. With the universe on your side, the odd be definitely be in your favor. That's why seven is a great number of players for an escape room!
I went here with friends and we did Area 51. The puzzles were challenging but not too esoteric or mathy, and the room had many handmade unique contraptions! Staff were friendly. Only complaint is that it is a little on the pricey side, but considering how well-executed it was, it was worth it.Duc
We did Aunt Edna's and I wasn't a fan. Area 51 was my favourite at the Upper James location.Krista
My friends and I had a great time puzzling our way through Area 51. We had a fun loving, very helpful game Master who gave us just enough with hints to help us through the solutions. The puzzles were fun and challenging, and the room was great to explore. Can't wait to go back!Paula
came and tried all 4 rooms, didn't enjoy the twilight zone or crypt, puzzles just didn't flow nicely or was extremely immersive. Dharma and Alcatraz were more interesting and fun, Alcatraz was my favourite of the 4 we tried. Hope they come out with a new exciting room!yadybug9922
We were two couples, and two of us were new to Escape Rooms and two had been to a few rooms before. We were utterly pleased with Alcatraz! Excellent quality puzzles with very good tech, great props, and a huge variety of tasks and types of thinking required that keeps everyone engaged and participating. Everything kept you moving forward, and there was plenty to do. The staff was super enthusiastic and welcoming - a totally immersive experience. We escaped Alcatraz and discovered a few surprises along the way. THANKS!Fiona W
Our group of 5 had a great time in the Alcatraz Escape room. The staff were really funny and helpful. We booked in advance because escape rooms tend to fill up quick!Stephanie L
