Eight people is a reasonable amount of players for escape rooms. Everyone will find something to do: strategizing, taking charge, searching for clues, solving puzzles, cheering the team on, counting down the minutes, wandering from room to room or chatting up the game master. Book one of the rooms in Toronto and find out what will your contribution be!
This was my dad's first time doing an escape room and he absolutely loved it! :) My husband and I love doing escape rooms and we thoroughly enjoyed it as well. The room we did was the Indiana Jones one. We are looking forward to going back and doing The Hangover room - thanks for the experience!Mona G
Took a group of 11 year olds to escape from Alcatraz. The person at the desk was extremely patient and helpful and they had a wonderful time.Alexandra
Just held an Operation Flamingo room Birthday - a special thank-you to our amazing guide Amy who so expertly led a group of ten 6/7/8 year olds on their adventure. You made it look easy! We were very impressed with the facility, and all of the games to keep the kids' entertained after they had solved the room right through until pick-up. And thanks to the team of staff who seemed to think of everything and took care of setting up the food and decorations. This party felt like it ran itself.WhereverIMayRoam
We took our pal to the Flamingo Room for her 9th birthday. There were for of us and we had a blast. The clues were hard but doable, and each one of us had to use our best strengths and problem solving skills. Also, I've been to a lot of Escape rooms but this one was the best because it was the cleanest, the most well thought out, and the clues were fun and challenging and actually delivered the outcome. The young woman working was also amazing and acted the part of Head Agent, keeping us right into the plot from the get go. I can't wait to try another room next time :)Mel C
We went to Looking Glass Adventures for my birthday and had a blast solving the Mystery at Maryweather Mansion. Terrific staff. The puzzles, clues, and props are well planned.Mags5757
We returned to Looking Glass, now in a new location, hoping to retry our Danforth escape. It was not ready yet, so we did the Mystery in Maryweather Mansion. First of all, the new location is very nice, and has multiple escape rooms, plus a party room! Now onto the mystery. It is a one-hour adventure. The four of us did well solving clues, but we did ask for help near the end and made our escape with 6 seconds to spare. Don't be afraid to ask for help. It is worth it if you can solve the puzzle. Highly recommended. Interesting, educational, makes you think on your feet. Teamwork and cooperation are very important, even if you assign separate duties to team members. You get your picture taken at the end, which they email to you! Would highly recommend to groups. This is very family friendly and not a horror adventure. Can't wait to go back and solve another puzzle!fivemile13
